The first words to come out of my mouth after playing this game were "Wow" and "Not coming off of my iPod." Think of the most addicting game you have ever played, now multiply that addictiveness by 150% and your result is Robin of Locksley. To me this game is a mixture of a castle defense game and Bowman where your obejctive is to keep soldiers (Some on Segways) from destroying village huts. To defend your village you are armed with your trusty bow and arrow, but have no fear, as there are power-up's placed along the viewing area that grant more arrows or super powers. Double tap on the right side of the screen (or left depending on the orientation) to scroll futher down the viewing area inorder to gain a better perspective as to where the enemies are.
Some special arrows include:
Double Arrows: When shoot you have two arrows instead of one.
Nuke Arrows: When they impact the ground or a person a large explosion occurs killing any soldier within its' range.
Magnet Arrows: When fired they automatically hone in on an enemy soldier and kill him.
Robin of Locksley truly represents what can be accomplished when developers show dedication and ingenuity. This will be an instant purchase for myself and I expect for everyone else as well. Expect this game to hit the shelves in the coming weeks.
